At Visual Bounty, we offer flexible licensing to accommodate a variety of personal, creative, and commercial projects. Below is a breakdown of our licensing options to help you select the right one for your needs.
Each image, video, or design template purchase automatically includes a Personal License. If you require commercial usage rights, additional licensing options are available at checkout.
Licensing Options
Personal License (Included with All Purchases)
This license covers personal, educational, or non-commercial projects. It allows for digital use on personal blogs, social media, or DIY projects, as well as personal art prints and home décor. Editing and customization are permitted for personal use.
Restrictions:
- Cannot be used for commercial purposes, branding, advertising, or resale
- Not permitted in marketing, promotional materials, or product sales
Commercial License (Small Business & Limited Use)
This license is designed for small businesses and independent creators needing assets for marketing materials, website graphics, and promotional content. It covers small-scale branding, packaging, and merchandise, as well as print-on-demand products with sales up to 1,000 units. Videos may be used in social media marketing, website backgrounds, or presentations. Design templates and identity kits are permitted for small business use, with reproduction limits of 1,000 copies.
Restrictions:
- Limited to 1,000 prints, sales, or digital impressions
- Not valid for mass advertising campaigns or unlimited product distribution
Extended Commercial License (Unlimited & Large-Scale Use)
This license allows for unrestricted commercial use, including resale, advertising, and mass production. It covers branding, book covers, and commercial interior design, as well as print-on-demand or merchandise exceeding 1,000 units. Videos can be used in paid ads, broadcast content, film, or high-visibility commercial projects. Identity kits and design templates are available for unlimited brand reproduction and corporate use.
Restrictions:
- Cannot be resold as a standalone stock asset
- Cannot be sublicensed or transferred without prior written approval
Free Images & Licensing
Free Images (Personal Use Only, License Upgrade Available)
Free images are available for personal and educational use, including non-commercial blogs, personal projects, or classroom settings.
Restrictions:
- Not permitted for commercial use without a license upgrade
- Requires a Commercial or Extended Commercial License for branding, resale, advertising, or business use

Frequently Asked Licensing Questions
Can I use Free Images for commercial projects?
No. Free images are only for personal and educational use. A Commercial or Extended Commercial License is required for branding, advertising, resale, or business use.
Can I modify an image, video, or template for my project?
Yes. You can crop, resize, recolor, and incorporate assets into a larger design. However, the modified file cannot be resold as a standalone stock asset.
Can I use a Commercial License image in a logo?
Yes, but only for small business branding with a limit of 1,000 reproductions. If your brand requires unlimited use, you need the Extended Commercial License.
Can I use a video in a paid advertisement or film project?
Videos used for social media, website backgrounds, and presentations are covered under the Commercial License. For broadcast, paid advertising, or film production, you will need the Extended Commercial License.
What if I need a custom license for a specific use case?
